Lexi and Salina served our party of 20 today. My sincere thanks for such a phenomenal job of caring for our group. Serving a large group is not easy, but these ladies made us feel welcome and we appreciated it as patrons. Many thanks and blessings your way ladies. I hope your manager takes note of your service.

Food was overall pretty good. I'm not partial to their specific bbq sauce cuz it was a little overpowering to the meat so I'd definitely suggest asking for the sauce to be on the side or just less if it needs to be on the meats you order. Ask for Anthony. He was our server tonight and he was extremely kind and patient and accommodating towards us. We got a full rack of ribs to split and two halves came out. One half was great and had excellent smoking and flavor and tenderness. Highly recommend. However the other Half of our order of ribs was extremely dry and tough. We let Anthony know and he was so kind to help us. We got a new slab to replace the bad one and it was fantastic. Ambiance was solid too. Clean seating and floors. Liked the feel of the place. So far it's a 4/5 for me just because I wasn't mega mega blown away but I did enjoy the food a bit! I'd like to come back and try something else next time! Definitely give this place a try and ask for Anthony to serve you if possible! Good food and a good server.

We headed to Oak and Embers on a Saturday night without a reservation, but wend ahead and chanced it. It was very busy, which we thought was a good thing. The hostess was very polite and gave us a proxy of how long before we could get seated (part of 2). We asked if we could sit at the bar... which we could... so we did. The bartender service was fantastic, very attentive but not over the top. There was not a push to get in-and-out. The bar area is great imho... plenty of room and not too loud (but not a morgue either). The food was fantastic, from the mains to the sides to the cornbread. All in all, 5 star experience across the board... food, service, ambience. We totally recommend Oak and Embers... with a bit more planning than us (haha) if you have a party larger than 2 and want to sit at a dining table.

We tried the brisket and barbecue chicken salad. Both were really good! And portions are large. Servers were friendly. We would definitely recommend!

We went here because of a recommendation from my best friend and it did not disappoint. The service was wonderful and the food was even better! I also asked our server if they could write a special message to propose to my Fiancé, and they totally helped out! What a special night. For our meal, I ordered the beef brisket with cheddar smashed potatoes and fresh green beans and it was delightful. The bbq sauce paired perfectly with the brisketand it was overall a great night. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed visiting oak and embers. It was a full parking lot but we still managed to get seated in under 10 minutes. The staff was friendly and helpful with our questions on the menu. The Mac and cheese was excellent and the burnt ends were our favorite. The restaurant is huge and perfect for watching sporting games

Beef ribs with a cola Demi-glaze were the most expensive item on the menu, but DANG was it worth it. Melt in your mouth tender, enough meat for lunch AND dinner, and the two sides I chose of dirty grits and vegetable of the day were fabulous. I tried my coworkers chicken, brisket, and pulled pork, and mine was by far the best. The brisket was a close second, but not as tender as I'm used to from BBQ joints. Service was fairly swift and friendly, but was not a fan of that when I asked for hot sauce for my bland veggies (expected, not a problem) my waitress said sure! And then brought me a little cup of Buffalo sauce which I saw was an extra 75 cents on my bill. I wish she would have told me it was extra, because in that case I would have just used the salt pepper and ketchup on the table. Transparency is key!

Stopped in for a little late lunch. (2:00pm). Prices are a little high for lunch ($19.50 for a bowl of mashed potatoes with some brisket and BBQ sauce). But the food was delicious! If I would have come for dinner, I wouldn't have thought anything about the price! Place was unusually empty, we think because it was prom night in the area, and the food came out super fast, which was good in the essence of time, but interesting that the meat was already precooked and waiting for customers? Restaurant was clean, server was super nice. I would be ok not going back here again, but if someone invited me, I certainly wouldn't decline the invite!
